Library Search is basically a 'one-stop-shop' for searching content on our databases and Library stock. As well as books and full-text journal articles, you can find newspapers, indexes to conference proceedings, doctoral theses and more.
When you conduct a search on Library Search, the system will be searching every resource and database available, which could leave you with tens of thousands of results.
You may, therefore, want to limit your results to make your search more specific. You can do this by using the 'Refine Your results' menu on the left hand side of your results page. To limit your search to specific databases, select 'Content provider' from the bottom of the menu. This opens a list of available databases you can choose from. You can select any many as you want to refine your search:

Having made your selection, just click 'Apply Filters' to update your search results.
